2001 “El Cristal. Del modernismo al Art Déco”
La Fundación Santillana organized another exhibition titled “El Cristal. Del modernismo al Art Déco”, A catalogue of the same title was published.
2005 “Alonso Collectie. Van Art Nouveau tot Studio Glass Movement”
At Design Museum Gent, under the direction of Lieven Daenens, the collection was displayed and the exhibition has been prolonged during many years.
2015 Design Derby BE-NL
Some artworks of Alonso Collection participated in the international exhibition project between Musée Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam and Design Museum Gent.
2016 Ikebana Demonstration
At Design Museum Gent in April, a demonstration of Ikebana using the Alonso pieces took place. The Ikebana master Ms. Astrid Maton of Saga Goryu Ikebana School explained about the Japanese art of flowers.
2016 “Crystal and Chrysanthemum : Japonism in Art Nouveau Glass”
At the cultural center of the Embassy of Japan in Belgium, a selection of pieces were displayed. Prof. Dr. Werner Adriaenssens delivered a lecture.
2018 Instituto Cervantes Brussels
On the occasion of “European Year of Cultural Heritage”, Instituto Cervantes Brussels supported the launching of our website of Alonso International Glass Collection.
